Discount Cologne

I’ve written on the subject of “discount cologne” on the main site, but I wanted to touch on the subject of cheap perfumes and discount colognes on our cologne blog, too. So let me reiterate the points I’ve made before in a shorter form.

Buying Discount Cologne the Right Way

1. Discount Cologne Isn’t Cheap Cologne – Because it is cheaper, cologne doesn’t have to smell cheaper. Take as much time shopping for the right discount cologne as you would for an expensive cologne. In fact, take longer to find the right frangrance for you, because you’ll need to be more selective.

2. Avoid Name Brands When Buying Discount Cologne – One key to finding good discount cologne is to avoid the name brands. Often, the less expensive name brand colognes are fragrance blends that didn’t quite make the grade to be considered that fragrance maker’s top cologne, so it is sold at a discount. You’re still paying for the name, though, so you’re probably receiving an inferior product. Buy the top fragrance from a lesser known cologne house instead.

3. Buy Smaller Amounts of Your Favorite – If you have a favorite that is more expensive, lower the cost by buying a smaller amount. This let’s you do two things. One, you place it in a cologne rotation, so the women in your life don’t get tired of smelling the same fragrance all the time. Two, you’re more likely to ration the cologne, which is usually a good thing. Many men tend to wear too much cologne at once, making even a good cologne selection unpleasant to those around them. Buy less and wear less and you’ll probably smell better.

4. Take Notes On Good Discount Colognes – When you come across a good discount cologne, add it to the list. Keep a list of solid discount colognes somewhere on your computer or email and reference it when it comes time to be a new cheap cologne. Make certain to sample the cologne and see how it smells on you first, though.

5. Discount Cologne Selection – Let’s go back to this. Just like you wouldn’t wear the same shirt 7 days in a row, you shouldn’t wear the same cologne 7 days in a row. Don’t buy one huge bottle of one great cologne and wear it every day of your life. Instead, buy smaller bottles of a number of discount colognes for the same price and surprise your girlfriend or wife with these different scent you’re wearing from day to day. Women will notice that you have an unpredictable aroma. Subtle changes are alluring to women.
