Curve Cologne

Curve Cologne is another mens fragrance from Liz Claiborne. “Curve For Men”, as it’s officially called, combines the essences of lavender, bergamot, lime, cedar and clove. Most consider Curve Cologne to be a masculine scent for casual wear, though it is also described as a fresh scent and having a flowery aroma (which I don’t traditionally associate with masculinity). Curve For Men was launched in 1996 by Liz Claiborne Inc, and you’ll find it in a distinctive cologne bottle with the word “Curve” written boldly in cursive letters.

Look at Amazon’s product description and you’ll find some flowery words being used to describe Curve Cologne by Liz Claiborne, including warm wind, mahagony & water, fresh greens and pepper. Amazon describes Curve Cologne as a daytime fragrance.

Curve Cologne Review

In my mind, Curve For Men does have a masculine scent and a fresh scent. I typically prefer a cologne that doesn’t overwhelm the senses and one that doesn’t turn sour on you after wearing it a while. That’s not the case with Curve Cologne, but the scent does seem to lose its force quicker than many of the brand name colognes.

If you need a cologne that’s going to stay with you all day, you’re likely to be dissatisfied with Curve Cologne by Liz Claiborne. If you are looking for a subtle cologne which is going give you a fresh fragrance and wear well through a dinner and a movie, Curve Cologne is perfect.

Curve reminds me of a warm summer day and I think of Curve Cologne as most appropriate for warmer weather events when you want to avoid musky smells and keep a fresh aroma. I prefer to have a cologne rotation that changes from the cold weather to the warm weather months, and if you have a similar cologne wearing pattern, you might want to add Curve For Men to your cologne wardrobe.

Detractors of Curve For Men

Some detractors who like strong or musky colognes argue that Curve by Liz Claiborne isn’t strong enough, or that it’s too bland for their tastes. I’ve even heard a friend say it smells similar to body wash products that are so big now (that I generally despise the smell of), but I definitely do not second that opinion. But if you are wanting to bowl your date over with a bold scent, Curve Cologne probably isn’t for you.
