Chrome Cologne

Chrome Cologne by Azzaro is a tangy fragrance that was first introduced by Azzaro in 1996. The cologne was quite a rage for a few years, enough so that people recognized the scent of Chrome Cologne when you wore it, but newer men’s fragrances have hit the market in the 13 years since the first bottle of Chrome Cologne was opened, so Chrome For Men can be safely placed in your rotation without half the other men you know wearing the same scent.

Chrome: A Rotation Cologne

In that way, Chrome Cologne by Azzaro For Men is a keeper. I don’t wear it all the time, but bottles of this mens fragrance have been in my collection for years and I like to splash in these citrusy tones occasionally to give the women in my life a bit of a curveball. Chrome Cologne is never offense, always truthworthy. To my memory, I’ve never gotten a bad review on this cologne, and plenty of compliments.

Chrome Cologne Fragrance Notes

Chrome Cologne For Men is described as a “crisp, tangy” scent with citrus notes. Chrome Men’s Fragrance is a casual colgone with a sporty smell that lasts long without offending with an overpowering, bold aroma. Chrome Cologne by Azzaro is a straightforward cologne that isn’t too sweet and isn’t too musky, which are two pet gripes of mine with many men’s colognes.

While citrus colognes are not my favorite, Chrome Cologne is crisper and fresher than most citrus-based cologne essences out there.That’s my personal taste and I know several men who wear Chrome Men’s Fragrance as their primary scent. I have a bit of a citrus allergy. Though it’s not transferred through wearing cologne, negative association that does ruin a bit of my enjoymentof citrus scents. So just because it’s not my favorite, do not take that as a swipe at the Chrome Cologne product. It’s a solid brand.

Understand that you take your chances of requiring the hassle that Amazon’s supplier send a fake bottle, which will require you to deal with Amazon to get a replacement. This is rare, but does happen when buying through Amazon.com.

About Louis Azzaro

Louis Azzaro was a French fashion designer who lived from 1933 to 2003. Azzaro was actually born to ethnic Sicilians living in Tunisia, which was under French authority at the time. When Loris Azzaro was 29, he moved to Paris to set up his fashion line. Azzaro became a sensation by the breakout year of 1968, mainly because of Azzaro’s fame for making party dresses for the French elite.

Designing beautiful dresses for beautiful, famous women was a staple for Loris Azzaro the remainder of his life, and he would go on to make dresses for beauties like Sophia Loren, Claudia Cardinale (a favorite of mine), Kate Winslet and Nicole Kidman. These days, the Azzaro fragrance lines are more famous than the Azzaro clothing lines.
