Burberry Cologne
Burberrys Cologne
Burberry Cologne For Men by Burberry is an affordable cologne with a spicy quality you can use in most casual settings. One survey turned up the following words to describe Burberry For Men by Burberry: crisp, smooth, defined, clean, strong, elegant, fresh, sexy, masculine, earthy, giggity giggity, long lasting, pleasant, surprising, spicy, subtle, strong, winter scent, fall scent, day scent, night scent, sophisticated, nice, dressy, classy, classic, great, manly, relaxed and personality.
Okay, that’s the first time I’ve done that, but I think it gives the reader and people looking for new fragrances a chance to see that wide range of words used to describe Burberry Cologne. Burberry For Men has a strong aroma, so you’ll be able to dab on a little amount and make your men’s cologne last longer. Given that the price on Amazon has ranged between $25 and $31 over the last several months for Burberry Men’s Cologne, the price is already in a range affordable for most men looking for a reliable cologne.
Burberry Cologne Fragrance Notes
The fragrance notes for Burberry Mens Cologne include mint, cedar, amber (rich amber, in fact), sandalwood and lavender. This gives the cologne a spicy scent with certain herbal, earthy tones. This combines to make a men’s scent for casual occasions when you want to dress down and smell like a man who isn’t afraid to get out into nature.
Given that Burberry Cologne was introduced in dress-down, casual 1997, you’ll probably understand the choice by the fragrance designers at Burberry. When I smell Burberry Cologne, I picture a man wearing a shirt with the long sleves rolled up.
That’s interesting, given that Burberry (a very British name) is from a British fragrance house that has “royal warrants” granted by Queen Elizabeth II and The Prince of Wales. That is, Burberry supplies their products to the Royal Court of England, allowing the prestige of advertising they supply the royals. So how did Burberry Limited come to have such an exclusive relationship with the Windors?
About Burberrys
Burberry was founded in 1856 by Thomas Burberry, a one-time draper’s apprentice who opened a apparel store in Basingstoke. Burberrys was known as an outdoors attire store by 1870, and this reputation was furthered in 1880, when Thomas Burberry invented gabardine, a hearty, water-resistant fabric worn by many explorers and adventurers of the Late Victorian Era.
With their man’s man reputation established, Burberry opened a corporate headquarters in London in 1891, and still houses their hq there. In 1911 and 1914, Burberry outfitted British expeditions to cross Antarctica and reach the South Pole. When World War I came, the British War Office had Burberrys convert their officers coat into the trench coat for trench warfare, so it can be said Burberrys may have invented the trench coat. After the war, Burberry sold trench coats for civilian wear.
Burberrys remained independent until 1955, when it was bought by Great Universal Stores. Burberry Group PLC only went public in 2002, though, when its IPO was floated on the London Stock Exchange.
Burberry or Burberrys?
You might note that Burberry products might come with the name “Burberry” or “Burberrys” on the box. “Burberrys” tends to mark older products, from when Burberry became famous in international parlance as “Burberrys of London”.
