Armani Cologne
Armani Cologne comprises a wide range of scents, including some of the most popular fragrances on the cologne market today. Blogging about Armani Cologne is tricky, though, because you might be searching for the product “Armani Cologne For Men” or you might be wanting to read about the entire line of Armani colognes. For that reason, I’m going to try to cover the specific mens fragrance you might be searching for, as well as some of the most popular mens’ colognes from the House of Armani.
Armani Cologne For Men by Giorgio Armani
First introduced in 1984, Armani Cologne For Men has been in mens’ cologne rotations for 25 years now. Armani Cologne For Men is considered a romantic cologne that can be overwhelming if used in too big of a quantity, though that can be said about all colognes. (Wearing the right amount of cologne is a talent unto itself.) But if you want to impress a woman with a robust, manly fragrance, there are worse choices than Armani Cologne For Men. Armani Cologne combines notes of oranges, lemons and bergamot, so only buy this fragrance if you and your lady friends enjoy citrusy colognes. Armani Cologne’s middle tones and lower tones involve coriander, nutmeg and clove, with a dash of aromatic wood fragrances as well.
As mentioned before, Armani Cologne For Men tends to be for intimate, romantic encounters where you want the woman to notice your manliness. I wouldn’t wear Armani Cologne For Men in most casual settings, because the fragrance can be offputting if you overdo the amount you apply. Armani Cologne For Men is a little on the expensive side, but it has been referred to as a sophisticated cologne. Don’t buy this fragrance if you prefer subtler aromas, though.
Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani For Men
Speaking of a subtler cologne, Acqua Di Gio Cologne is currently the most popular fragrance for men offered by the Armani perfume house. Acqua di Gio For Men combines modern masculinity with the outdoors smells of a sea breeze and earthy tones with the bright aromas of a sunny day. I’ve heard Acqua Di Gio was designed to smell like a Mediterranean island, but since I don’t know what that smell is, I can’t attest to that statement. The fragrance notes of Acqua Di Gio by Giorgia Armani are citrus, jasmine and rosemary spices, as well as hints of ocean breezes and woods. Like most of the subtler fragrances, Acqua Di Gio For Men is recommended for casual occasions.
Acqua Di Gio is a hugely popular cologne. In fact, its main drawback is the huge number of men who wear this cologne. You walk into a bar wearing Aqua Gio and the women you talk to are almost certain to have smelled your cologne on another man that night. In other words, join the Acqua Di Gio Club, because every other man in the world appears to be wearing this wonderful cologne. If that’s not a drawback, but in your mind a sign of a good blend and success in romance, then by all means jump on the Acqua Di Gio bandwagon, because women of all ages seem to go crazy for this cologne.
Armani Black Code by Georgio Armani
“Armani Code” or “Armani Black Code” is another favorite cologne of men, though the $45 price tag for a 2.5 ounce bottle keeps Georgio Black Code from being more popular than it already is. That being said, the higher price tag means less men are likely to be wearing this men’s fragrance, so you can avoid the problem stated above about Acqua Di Gio Cologne.
Armani Black Code is another subtle cologne, often described as mellow. Armani Code is considered a versatile cologne, appropriate for both formal evenings and casual (or semi-casual) events. One drawback that’s common with the less powerful smelling colognes is that Armani Black Code does not always have the longevity you would like, and that can be particularly aggravating for a slightly more expensive cologne. That being said, Armani Code is a fresh and sexy fragrance that uses some little-used essences, such as Guaiac wood and tonka bean. The base notes are the more familiar lemon and bergamot, as well as Mediterranean notes.
